Essential Duties and Responsibilities: .
  • Manages Quality/Safety Department.
  • Setting up, maintaining / performing receiving inspection.
  • Coordination and assurance of all environmental compliance requirements and documentation
  • Maintaining calibration system
  • Coordination of safety training / meetings and ensuring OSHA compliance plant wide
  • Implementation / maintaining quality and instructional documentation
  • Maintain quality program, including internal audits, document creation/changes and champion of continuous improvement.
  • Approval and labeling of incoming raw material.
  • Development of standard certificate of conformance process & prepare certificates as required for daily customer shipments.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain final audit inspection plan.
  • Administer NCMR system, maintaining documentation including implementation of corrective & preventative actions, process/procedure and providing customer updates
  • Prepare PPAP & initial sample reports.
  • Implement first off check procedure and in process checks.
  • Be familiar with IATF16949 policies, procedures and work instructions that relate to job activities. Maintaining / preparing required IATF16949 and APQP documentation
  • Be familiar with ISO13485 policies, procedures and work instructions that relate to job activities. Maintain/ preparing required ISO13485 documentation.
  • Blueprint control.
  • Performs other duties as directed by VP of Engineering and Operations

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Five to ten years related experience.
  • Ability to read and write English to maintain records and create reports for various purposes.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and group situations involving employees, suppliers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate and analyze complex reports.
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • Strong leadership, attention to detail and communication skills required.
